The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Summit was held at the UN Headquarters in New York on September 24 and 25, 2019. Senior government officials conducted a comprehensive review and discussion on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Globally, human beings have deviated from the established track on the road to achieving Sustainable Development Goals because of fatal conflicts, climate change, and imbalance in economic growth. To this end, the meeting adopted a political declaration that the UN member states pledged to raise funds in the next decade and strive to achieve 17 Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, leaving no one behind. At the same time, many governments and organizations have proposed 126 SDG Acceleration Actions based on their own situation. The representative of China delivered a speech at the summit and pointed that China regards sustainable development as the basic national policy and comprehensively and deeply implements the 2030 agenda, has made remarkable progress in poverty alleviation, medical care, education and China is expected to achieve multiple Sustainable Development Goals ahead of schedule.
