    探究森林群落的动态变化,对于理解森林生态系统的保护、维持机制和促进生态系统恢复具有重要意义。基于2007、2012、2017和2022年对木论国家级自然保护区内1hm2的喀斯特常绿落叶阔叶混交林样地胸径(DBH)≥1cm的木本植物的4次调查数据,分析了植物群落组成、重要值、径级结构、生物多样性和种群动态的变化规律。结果表明:(1)15年间植株个体数从3380(41科81属99种)减少到2128(42科79属98种),物种组成相对稳定;物种丰富度、Shannon-Wiener指数和Simpson指数逐渐降低,Pielou均匀度指数呈先上升后下降的趋势。(2)群落中小径级个体数逐渐减少,大径级个体数增加,中小径级以常绿树种为主,大径级以落叶树种为主。结构多样性指标(胸径变异系数和胸径基尼系数)呈先降后升的变化模式。(3)种群动态发现,重要值排名前14位的物种仅粗糠柴逐渐退出;相比前10年,后5年重要值前14位的物种死亡率有所下降,增补率上升,种群变化率上升;不同径级表现出明显的动态分化特征,小径级年均死亡率为3.18%,增补率从0.36%提升至2.14%,中径级年均死亡率为1.44%,大径级年均死亡率仅为0.17%,中大径级年均增补率为1.38%,表明径级越大,种群稳定性越强。研究结果揭示了喀斯特森林在环境胁迫下的独特演替模式,为亚热带喀斯特森林生物多样性保护及生态恢复提供科学依据。

    Abstract:

    Investigating the dynamic changes in forest communities is of substantial significance for understanding the conservation mechanisms, maintenance processes, and promotion of ecosystem restoration in forest ecosystems. This study draws upon a 15-year census dataset (2007, 2012, 2017, 2022) derived from a permanent 1-hectare monitoring plot located in a karst evergreen-deciduous broadleaved mixed forest within the Mulin National Nature Reserve. All woody plants with a diameter at breast height (DBH) ≥1 cm were surveyed, enabling a detailed examination of temporal trends in community composition, importance values, diameter-class structure, biodiversity indices, and population dynamics. The key findings are summarized as follow: (1) Over the 15-year period, the total number of stems declined from 3380 individuals (41 families, 81 genera, 99 species) to 2128 individuals (42 families, 79 genera, 98 species), indicating a reduction in density but relative stability in floristic composition. Concurrently, key biodiversity indices showed distinct trends: species richness, the Shannon-Wiener index, and the Simpson index all gradually decreased. In contrast, Pielou index initially increased before subsequently declining. (2) The size structure of the community shifted significantly. The abundance of small-diameter individuals progressively decreased, while the number of large-diameter individuals increased. An ecological pattern was evident where evergreen species dominated the small and medium diameter classes, and deciduous species were predominant in the large diameter class. Furthermore, indices of structural diversity-the coefficient of variation (CV) and the Gini coefficient of DBH-both exhibited a pattern of initial decline followed by a later increase. (3) Analysis of the top 14 species by importance value revealed that only Mallotus philippensis experienced a continuous decline, leading to its eventual disappearance from the plot. Comparing the latter five-year interval (2017-2022) with the preceding decade showed a notable shift in demographics for these dominant species: mortality rates decreased, while recruitment rates and the net population change rate increased. Dynamics varied strongly with tree size: small-diameter trees had a high mean annual mortality rate (3.18%) and a recruitment rate that rose from 0.36% to 2.14%. Medium-diameter trees showed a moderate annual mortality rate (1.44%), and large-diameter trees were highly stable, with an annual mortality rate of only 0.17%. The combined medium and large-diameter classes had an annual recruitment rate of 1.38%. These results clearly demonstrate that population stability strengthens with increasing tree size. In summary, this research elucidates the unique successional trajectory of karst forests under environmental stress. The findings on community reorganization and size-dependent demographic shifts provide a scientific basis for guiding biodiversity conservation and ecological restoration in subtropical karst ecosystems.
