Abstract:Ecological product is an important carrier for the transformation of "Two Mountains" and effective lever for promoting ecological civilization construction in the new era. The Citespace software was used to conduct quantitative analysis and systematic sorting of the current status and hot topic evolution of ecological product research in China from 1992 to 2024, attempting to construct a knowledge framework for ecological product research, which has important reference significance for the follow-up research and practical development of ecological product. The results show that: (1) The number of annual publications on ecological product research in China has shown a significant growth trend, generally going through three stages: initial starting stage(1992—2012), steady development stage(2013—2019), and rapid growth stage(2020—up to now). There are differences in the research focus at each stage. (2) Ecological products, value realization, ecological civilization, ecological compensation, ecotourism, green development, rural revitalization, common prosperity, national parks, and ecological design are the top 10 high-frequency keywords, representing the hot research areas of ecological products. Value realization, ecosystem, common prosperity, value accounting, implementation path, green finance have emerged as burst keywords in the past three years,which are the forefront directions of ecological product research. From the perspective of hotspots, the early research focus was mainly on narrow concepts of ecological products, such as ecological design products, ecotourism, etc. Then, it has gradually developed to frontier fields such as ecological civilization, ecological compensation, ecological value accounting, and mechanisms and paths for realizing the value of ecological products. (3) By analyzing the co-occurrence knowledge graph of keywords and summarizing the theme content, a knowledge system framework for ecological product research was constructed, which consists of ontology, value, and practice three dimensions: The research content of ontology dimension mainly includes the conceptual connotation, classification system, attribute characteristics, and supply pattern of ecological product. The research on the value dimension mainly emphasizes on two core issues.One is ecological product value accounting,and the other is value realization mechanism of ecological product. The practical dimension focuses on the value realization mode of ecological products and its internal relationship and function path with national strategies, such as rural revitalization, common prosperity, transformation of "two mountains", and "emission peaking & carbon neutralization". (4) At present, research on ecological product in China still faces limitations in theory, methods, data, and practical applications. it is necessary to clarify the basic concepts of ecological product, improve its value accounting system, deepen the research on mechanism of ecological product, and strengthen its disciplinary foundation in the future.
