Abstract:Comprehensive consolidation and ecological restoration(CCER) of land space play a crucial role in guaranteeing regional ecological quality, optimizing ecological security patterns, and enhancing the ecosystem services value (ESV). Quantitative assessment of the impact of CCER on ecological quality represents a significant research challenge and focal point within the field. This study takes Hezhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as a case study to measure the impact of CCER on the ESV. The main conclusions are as follows: (1) There is a big gap in per unit ESV of different quality land types. The overall level of cultivated land in Hezhou City is not high, and the per unit ESV of cultivated land is between 12,760.88 and 9,822.52 yuan/hm2; The overall coverage of forest land is high, and the unit ESV is between 47,828.54 and 29,062.59 yuan/hm2. The vegetation coverage of grassland is mostly in the middle level, and the unit ESV is between 18944.65 and 15348.36 yuan/hm2. The horizontal area distribution of vegetation coverage in the garden is relatively even, and the unit value is between 25,720.58 and 20,838.00 yuan/hm2. (2) Through CCER, the overall ESV of Hezhou City can be improved to varying degrees. The total ESV before CCER is 41.18 billion yuan, the total ESV after CCER can be increased to 45.806 billion yuan, and the total ESV can be increased to 4.626 billion yuan, with an increase rate of 11.23%. The promotion of ESV shows the characteristics that the eastern and western wings are higher than the central region and the southern region is higher than the eastern region. (3) There is a big gap in CCER potential among districts and counties in Hezhou City, with Babu District and Zhaoping County having the greatest potential, and Fuchuan county having the highest proportion of potential improvement. The main source of ESV that can be improved in all districts and counties of Hezhou City is forest ecological restoration, and Pinggui District can also come from unused land consolidation and mine restoration besides forest ecological restoration. Babu district and Zhaoping county mainly come from woodland; In addition to forest land restoration, Zhongshan County mainly comes from the consolidation of unused land and the improvement of cultivated land quality. In addition to forest land, Fuchuan county can also come from the consolidation of unused land and the improvement of cultivated land quality. According to the potential situation of remediation and restoration in districts and counties, it can serve the layout of comprehensive consolidation and ecological restoration projects in the future. The findings hold significant importance in guiding the planning and execution of comprehensive consolidation and ecological restoration projects, and provide valuable insights for evaluating the effectiveness of remediation measures.
