Abstract:With the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization, ecological degradation and increasing vulnerability have become serious problems. Ecosystems have been unable to recover their structure and function through self-regulation. Ecological restoration has become an important way to repair fragile ecosystems. Ecological restoration effects (ERE) are the key to evaluate the quality of ecological restoration, which provides scientific guidance for decision-making and follow-up management of ecological restoration. In this study, we used CiteSpace quantitative analysis software to comb 4958 domestic and foreign literatures of ERE and preliminary judged the main disciplines and research hotspots of ERE evaluation. We summarized the main contents of ERE evaluation at home and abroad. The domestic ERE evaluation focused on environmental quality, biological resources, ecosystem services, benefits and landscape function, while the foreign ERE evaluation attached more importance to biological resources, ecosystem services, perceived value and aesthetic value. Therefore, it was proposed that the follow-up research of our country should strengthen the integrated research of the same type of ecological restoration, the cultural services tradeoffs and collaborative research with other ecosystem services, the comprehensive benefits evaluation between the ecological environment and social culture, the residents perception evaluation of ERE, and the interdisciplinary system cross research, to better improve the ERE and ecological space quality.
