The ESP10 World Conference (10th Ecosystem Services Partnership World Conference, ESP10) was held in Hannover, Lower Saxony, Germany from 21-25 October, 2019. The theme of this conference was “10 years advancing ecosystem services science, policy and practice for a sustainable future”, aim at discussing the mainstreaming issues in ecosystem service scientific research, policy support, ecological practice and other aspects, exchanging the latest research results, seeking green solutions for sustainable development in the future, and further promoting the integration of ecosystem service research into ecological environment protection, policy makings and practices. This paper reviewed the main contents of opening ceremony, 7 guest presentations, 48 break-out sessions and 160 poster exhibitions of the conference, which focused on the current hot issues and frontiers of ecosystem services, including the ecosystem service assessment methods and models, and the incorporation of ecosystem services in sustainability, biodiversity, climate change, land use change and landscape pattern, regional policy analysis and decision support, and urban green infrastructure and other fields.
