The 10th International Association for Landscape Ecology World Congress was held in Milan, Italy on July 1, 2019, attracting more than 1000 delegates from all over the world. Its theme is "Nature and society facing the Anthropocene: challenges and perspectives for Landscape Ecology".The conference focused on the impact of climate change on landscape patterns, ecosystem services and sustainable development, landscape ecology and policy making.The enlightenment to landscape ecology in China mainly includes :(1) Strengthen the research on landscape pattern changes under different climatic scenarios;(2) Deepening the dynamic link between ecosystem services and sustainable development;(3) Expand the application of landscape ecology research results in ecosystem management.
