Abstract:Based on the temperature data of 15 weather stations in Xilinguole steppe zone, we got the monthly spatial temperature data with interpolation techniques under the Arcgis software, and analyzed the spatial-temporal change variations of temperature. The results showed that, in the 80s of 20th century, the temperature of the largest area zone is of <1-2 ℃ and <2-3℃ temperature zone were the largest, the proportionthe area were 34.64%, 33.26%, respectively. But while in the 90s of 20th century,the temperature of the largest area zone were the <2-3℃ and <3-4℃, the area which accounted for were 32.99% and 26.46%, respectively. During this period, the proportion of the average temperature which in the range of 1-2℃ is only 16.83%. From the 21st century, the temperature of the whole region showed a rapid increased trend, the annual average temperature of most areas were <3-4℃ and > 4℃, the area were which accouted for 33.93% and 33.14% of Xilinguole's total area separately, respectively, but however, the area that the average temperature indicated of <2℃ was no more than 7%. The analysis on the temperature change trends figures from 1981 to 2007 showed that, the annual average temperature of the whole region showed presented an increased ascending tendencytrend. The annual average temperature change rate showed that it displayed the zonal distribution in space, and decreased from west to east, the relatively higher change rate region was located in the west and the north of Xilinguole, and the maximum value of change rate was 1.28, the proportion of the annual change rate which greater than 0.8 was 52.5 0%, the relatively lower change rate region was located in the east and the south of Xilinguole,and the minimum value of the average annual growth of change rate was 0.12, the area of the annual change rate
