Abstract:A realistic model of soil vegetation atmosphere water and energy transfer including groundwater (GSVAT)is established here. The model is validated with data obtained in winter wheat field with shallow groundwater, which is collected from recovering to maturity period lasting 71 days. The results show that GSVAT is capable of simulating energy and water exchange between land/atmosphere interface, as well as soil water dynamic movement.
