The time specific life table, survivorship curve and age structure of Cathaya argyrophylla population were obtained through analysing the demography and age structures of its main coenopopulations. The results showed that after 200 years old, the death peak occurred and expected average life largely decreased for C. argyrophylla population, indicating its physiological decline.
