Allelopathy of rice is a new area in rice related research and plays an important role in weed management.This paper gave a review on this hot point of rice allelopathy research,including alleopathic rice finding,allelopathic rice germplasm screening,allelochemicals searching,and allelopathic cultivar breeding.Some problems in allelopathy research and the priorities of allelopathy developing in China were discussed also.
