Abstract:Based on the data collected from 143 plots of 13 quadrats,the β diversities of meadow communities distributed in Donglingshan Mountain,about 100 km west of Beijing,were measured by both binary and numerical data using several methods.The results show that Wilson Schmida index( β T),C J which is derived from Jaccard's similarity index and Soreson's index( C S) are able to reflect the community changes as the altitude alters,no matter they were calculated by the first quadrat vs.any other one or by...
