According to principles of human ecology and SENCE theory, the connotation of the concept of urban-rural ecotone is defined ecologically.With methodology of eec-cybernetics, a sensitivity model is introduced to analyze the structure and component interactive pattern as well as eec-cybernetic features in Urban-rural ecotones with a casestudy of the urban-rural ecotone in Tianjin City.
