Abstract:1. The behaviors of Neopsylla bidentatiformis (Wagner, 1893) and Citellop-hilust esquorum sungaris (Jordan, 1929) attacking both living and dead hosts were studied. The correlation between the number of fleas on the living host and the temperature of the environment was linearly negative, but the number of fleas on the dead host had no relation with the temperature of the environment.
