    摘要:

    在25℃下,用Gilson示差呼吸计测定了棉铃虫成虫期静止时的呼吸代谢。雌、雄蛾在整个生活期间的代谢速率(微升O_2/毫克鲜重/小时)都呈“U”型曲线变化,并有明显的昼夜节律。同时还测定棉铃虫成虫在不同温度下、在取食后、在黑暗条件下、在饥饿和飞翔期同的耗氧量。根据测定资料估测,在25℃下,棉铃虫雌雄成虫一生在静止时平均消耗氧气分别约为66.0毫升和72.5毫升。由于棉铃虫蛾期的平均呼吸商是0.94,所以成虫一生通过呼吸消耗的能量约在1,400焦耳或330卡(雌蛾)和1500焦耳或360卡(雄蛾)左右,还不到它们一生在活动和静止时通过呼吸消耗的总能量的1/4。

    Abstract:

    Respiratory metabolism of resting moths of the cotton bollworm (H. armigera) was determined at 25℃ with a Gilson Differential Respirater. Metabolic rates (μlO2/mg wet weight/h) of both females and males throughout their lives exhibited U-shaped curves and showed marked circadian rhythms. Oxygen consumption of these moths was also measured at different temperatures, after feeding, in the dark, during hungry and flying periods.
