An optimization model of the agricultural structure, including both economic and ecological considerations, is presented. An emphasis is placed on simulation approaches in the system analysis of the agricultural structure in the Hainan Island. Using a FELIXC-512 system computer, the 20 optimization scenarios of the agricultural structure of Hainandao are provided, and their economic and ecological effects are proved.
