On the basis of comprehensively considering conditions of tourist resources, ecological environment and tourism industry and its potential, the paper attempts to establish a new ecotourism resource evaluation index system where each factor proportion is determined by integrally adopting the quasi-primary component method, the subjective experiential evaluation method, etc., as well as experts′ investigations. Taking Jiangsu coastal wetland ecotourism resources as an example, it applies fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to assess the ecotourism resources in nine tourist areas in Jiangsu coastal wetlands. The result shows that our index system has fine differentiable, applicable and popularization attributes.
