澜沧江发源于青藏高原唐古拉山北麓, 自北向南先后流经中国的青海、西藏和云南三省以及缅甸、老挝、泰国、柬埔寨和越南五国[1-2], 出境后称为湄公河, 是一条重要的国际河流。澜沧江—湄公河从河源至河口, 流经了寒带、寒温带、温带、暖温带、亚热带、热带等多种气候带, 穿越了冰川、草甸、高原、高山峡谷、中低山宽谷、冲积平原等多个地理单元[3]。由于流经区域多样的气候和地理环境, 澜沧江-湄公河孕育了丰富的淡水鱼类, 多样性极高, 鱼类物种数在世界大江大河中排名第二, 仅次于南美的亚马逊河[4-5]。迄今为止, 已有记录的澜沧江河段鱼类物种数已近200余种[6], 且以地方特有种居多[7]。同时, 鱼类是本流域内居民蛋白质重要来源[8-9], 关系到此流域国家的粮食安全[10-12]。
为应对全球能源危机和气候变暖, 世界各国大力优化能源结构、推进水电开发[13]。澜沧江—湄公河水能资源丰富, 开发条件优越, 70%的水能资源都集中在我国云南河段, 是我国十三大水电基地之一。自1993年至今已建成并运行11个水电站, 预计到2030年将有21个水电站建成运行[14], 梯级电站建设导致河流生境剧烈变化, 河流形态由河相转为了河相—湖相交替形式, 复杂生境变成了“岛屿”片段生境[15-16], 对澜沧江—湄公河鱼类群落产生了潜在影响。研究表明, 电站建设后澜沧江—湄公河鱼类多样性出现了显著下降[3, 17-18], 鱼类群落均质化[19], 鱼类区系的分类和系统发育在时空上也表现出异质性[16]。同时, 由于电站阻碍鱼类洄游[20-21], 破坏产卵栖息地, 鱼类生产力受到影响, 渔业出现减产[11-12, 22]。但是, 在水电梯级开发进程中, 鱼类群落演变特征尚不清晰。本研究以澜沧江水电梯级开发集中的云南境内河段为研究对象, 通过搜集历史数据与开展现状调查, 分析水电梯级开发进程中鱼类群落演变特征, 以揭示水电梯级开发进程对鱼类群落结构的影响及其机制, 为评估水电梯级开发生态环境效应和鱼类多样性保护提供理论基础。
1 材料与方法 1.1 研究区域本研究区域为澜沧江云南境内中路乡至关累河段, 河段总长930 km, 天然落差1140 m。迄今为止, 区域内已修建运行了9个梯级电站, 总装机容量高达19 GW(表 1)。我们选择梯级电站以及中路乡、橄榄坝、关累作为场地边界, 将研究区域自上而下划分为11个部分:中路乡—黄登、黄登—大华桥、大华桥—苗尾、苗尾—功果桥、功果桥—小湾、小湾—漫湾、漫湾—大朝山、大朝山—糯扎渡、糯扎渡—景洪、景洪—橄榄坝、橄榄坝—关累(图 1)。这11个区域既涵盖了澜沧江不同类型的鱼类栖息地[3], 也囊括了渔业生产的主要区域[23]。

鱼类历史数据收集于已公开发表的论文[3, 6, 17-18, 24-26]、专业书籍[7, 15, 27-29]以及在线数据库FishBase(www.fishbase.org), 并根据《世界鱼类》[30]和《云南鱼类名录》[31]进行同物异名的一致性修订。此外, 为量化鱼类群落的时间变化特征, 将数据归纳为三个时期, 分别对应历史:梯级开发之前(1990年以前)、梯级开发之后(2008—2013年)和当前(2018—2019年)的鱼类采样。
捕捞产量数据收集于1990—2018年的《云南统计年鉴》和地方《渔业统计年报》。虽然云南的8个地级市(迪庆、怒江、大理、丽江、保山、临沧、普洱、西双版纳)都部分或全部位于研究流域中, 但考虑到渔业捕捞在迪庆、怒江、丽江处于较低水平, 而保山又存在怒江的跨流域捕捞干扰[23]。因此在本研究系统中, 我们将大理、临沧、普洱、西双版纳以及保山的隆阳区、昌宁县的捕捞产量合算为研究区域的捕捞总量(图 1)。
1.2.2 鱼类现状调查本研究采用渔获物监测和渔民走访调查相结合的方式进行现状调查。调查时间为2018年9—11月、2019年1月、3—4月, 调查江段共计20个。调查江段由上至下分别为:黄登库尾、黄登库中、大华桥库尾、大华桥库中、苗尾库尾、苗尾库中、功果桥库尾、功果桥库中、小湾库尾、漫湾库尾、漫湾库中、大朝山库尾、大朝山库中、糯扎渡库尾、糯扎渡库中、景洪库尾、景洪库中、景洪坝下、橄榄坝、关累(图 1)。在本研究系统中, 各梯级库区均分库尾流水江段和库中静水江段开展调查, 小湾库中因未获得入库授权而未进行调查。
监测渔具以定置刺网和虾笼为主, 辅以饵钩、撒网等。采样过程中, 为了捕获到不同水层及不同大小鱼类, 采用了多种规格渔具, 其中刺网的网目大小3—15 cm、网高为2—15 m、网长为20—150 m、地笼长宽高分别为10—20 m、50 cm、50 cm;每个监测江段联系1—3位当地渔民, 监测时间为3—5 d。采集到的鱼类进行现场拍照、称重、测量, 依据相关文献进行鉴定[24, 27-28, 32], 对于个别没有在现场鉴定到种的鱼类, 用10%福尔马林溶液浸泡后, 带回实验室进行二次鉴定。渔民走访调查以问卷调查的形式为主, 辅以鱼类影像资料收集。澜沧江沿岸多高山峡谷、地理条件复杂, 导致走访调查存在一定的难道, 因此在实际走访过程中各研究区域的样本容量控制在15—30位之间。
1.3 数据处理与分析 1.3.1 渔业资源丰度本研究中, 以鱼类年捕捞产量衡量渔业资源丰度[33], 单位为t。
1.3.2 多样性指数由于澜沧江鱼类历史记录缺乏各物种个体数量、重量的定量数据, 因此本研究采用G-F指数[34]来评估鱼类多样性:

1.3.3 群落相似度采用Jaccard相似性指数[35]分析鱼类群落相似度变化:

式中, c为共有物种数, a和b分别为各自物种数。当q在0—0.25范围时为极不相似;0.25—0.50范围时为中等不相似;0.50—0.75范围时为中等相似;0.75—1.00范围时为极相似。
1.3.4 鱼个体生态学指数采用鱼个体生态学指数[36]分析鱼类生态类型变化:

式中, T为鱼类群落矩阵, A为鱼类个体生态类型矩阵, n为鱼类种类数, R为鱼类群落对环境需求因子的需求度。参考每种鱼类栖息地要求、生活史、食性偏好、产卵条件的生物学特征[34, 37], 本研究依据流速偏好、水深偏好、底质偏好、产卵类型、营养类型以及口位类型等19个生态指标建立鱼类个体生态学矩阵(附表)。当某种鱼类某些生态特征不明确时, 则它的该项特征在矩阵中取平均值。此方法可以避免因随机抽样带来的数量差异影响, 对鱼类功能群整体进行分析, 尤其能对鱼类资源历史调查资料信息充分利用[38]。

2018—2019年现场监测共采集到渔获物41186尾、985.36 kg, 隶属于8目25科74属101种;对沿江渔民的走访调查共计243人次, 收集鱼类捕获记录影像资料744份, 结合现场监测数据, 共计录到鱼类121种(图 2), 隶属于10目31科92属(附表)。其中, 鲤形目6科57属72种, 占59.5%;鲇形目9科19属27种, 占22.3%;鲈形目8科9属14种, 占11.6%;合鳃鱼目2科2属2种, 占1.7%;魟形目、鲟形目、鳗鲡目、脂鲤目、胡瓜形目和鳉形目均为1科1属1种, 各占0.8%。

梯级电站建设后, 澜沧江鱼类物种数逐渐减少, 但减少速度有所放缓。梯级电站建设前(1990年以前), 研究河段鱼类种类数为158种, 在2008—2013年降为134种, 减少了15.2%, 2018—2019年进一步降为121种, 较上一时期减少了9.7%(图 2)。梯级电站建设后, 澜沧江消失的鱼类均为土著鱼类, 其中, 原缨口鳅属(Vanmanenia)、原爬鳅属(Balitoropsis)、荷马条鳅属(Homatula)、南鳅属(Schistura)、波鱼属(Rasbora)、鱼丹属(Danio)、鱲属(Raiamas)、异齿鰋属(Oreoglanis)、青鳉属(Oryzias)、结鱼属(Tor)的种类减少的最为明显(附表)。此外, 鱼类物种数减少的数量在不同江段也有所不同。总体上, 越往下游鱼类物种数减少越多(图 3)。另一方面, 梯级电站建设后澜沧江外来鱼类种类数逐渐增加, 且增加速度逐渐加快。外来鱼类种类数由1990年以前的1种增加到2008—2013年的22种, 2018—2019年的37种, 在鱼类物种总数占比分别为0.6%、16.4%、30.6%。

梯级电站建设后, 澜沧江年捕捞总量增长了约8倍, 由电站建设前1992年的6701 t增长至2017年的53930 t。1989—1998年期间, 年捕捞总量较为稳定, 维持6000 t左右, 此后开始持续增长, 且增长速率呈现加快趋势。1999—2008年期间, 年均增长率为6.4%, 由6465 t增至11828 t;2009—2017年期间, 年均增长率为14.5%, 由12869 t增至53930 t(图 4)。将年捕捞总量与总装机容量进行Pearson相关性分析后发现, 二者呈现极显著正相关(r = 0.936, P < 0.01)。渔获物组成方面, 2018—2019年调查发现, 在新建水库以及自由河段中(如, 苗尾、大华桥和关累、橄榄坝等), 渔获物以土著鱼类为主, 而在库龄较高的水库中(如, 景洪、糯扎渡、大朝山等), 外来鱼类在渔获物中占比较高(图 4)。研究发现, 水库库龄与外来鱼类在渔获物中占比呈现显著正相关(r=0.537, P < 0.01)。

梯级电站建设后, 澜沧江鱼类群落结构发生了显著变化。鲤形目种类数占比逐渐减少, 由1990年以前的72.2%, 逐步下降至2008—2013年的64.2%, 2018—2019年的59.5%;鲈形目、鲇形目种类数占比逐渐增大, 分别由1990年以前的4.4%和19.0%上升至2018—2019年的11.6%和22.3%(图 5)。鱼类多样性方面, 1990年以前鱼类群落DF指数为12.51, DG指数为4.18, G-F指数为0.67;2008—2013年鱼类群落DF指数为8.25, DG指数为4.38, G-F指数为0.47, 科多样性水平显著下降;而2018—2019年鱼类群落DF指数为13.43, DG指数为4.42, G-F指数为0.67, 科数目较2008—2013年鱼类群落显著上升, 鱼类多样性水平有所上升。此外, 鱼类群落相似性分析表明, 2008—2013年鱼类群落较1990年以前为中等相似(q=0.63);而2018—2019年鱼类群落较1990年以前为中等不相似(q=0.44)。

梯级电站建设之前, 澜沧江鱼类以杂食性(R=0.65)、口下位(R=0.77)、底层栖息(R=0.62)、喜沙砾\卵石底质(R=0.75)、产沉性卵(R=0.42)、急流型(R=0.58)为主。梯级电站建设后, 底层栖息、喜沙砾\卵石底质、急流型水体鱼类逐渐减少, 中上层栖息、喜泥质\水草底质、缓流型水体鱼类逐渐增多;产沉性卵鱼类逐渐减少, 产粘性卵鱼类逐渐增多;杂食性鱼类逐渐减少, 植食性、滤食性鱼类逐渐增多;口下位鱼类逐渐减少, 口端位鱼类逐渐增多(图 6)。而在这些生态类型变化中又以流速偏好及产卵类型变化最为显著。2018—2019年调查结果显示, 澜沧江鱼类已由急流型(R=0.44)为主转变为以缓流型(R=0.55)为主, 由产沉性卵(R=0.30)为主转变为产粘性卵(R=0.35)为主。

水电梯级开发作为中国西南地区水能资源开发利用的主要方式, 对河流生态系统产生了较大影响[39]。水电站建设阻碍鱼类洄游, 水位上升淹没鱼类产卵场而不利于鱼类生长繁殖, 进而影响了渔业产量[9, 11-12, 20-21]。而本研究发现, 澜沧江梯级电站建设运行后, 渔业产量却逐年递增, 相比于梯级电站建设前, 渔业增产达到8倍, 为流域内居民提供了充足的蛋白质来源。研究表明, 浮游植物是水生态系统中最重要的初级生产者, 在能量流动和物质循环中扮演着重要角色, 其生物量与水体鱼产力不仅关系密切, 且在一定阈值内, 通常与滤食性鱼类生物量呈正相关[40-41]。水电站建设后, 河流由河相状态转变为湖相状态, 为浮游植物生长繁殖提供有利的静水条件;水流变缓引起营养物质在水库内沉降、富集, 为浮游植物生长繁殖提供丰富的物质基础[42]。因此, 电站建设后浮游植物种类和生物量往往大幅上升。例如, 长江三峡电站建设运行后, 多数库湾(如香溪河库湾)浮游植物生物量就显著增加[43]。初级生产力的提高导致饵料资源量增加, 为渔业发展提供了饵料基础。另一方面, 为了控制水体的富营养化, 电站建设后通常放流鲢(Hypophthalmichthys molitrix)、鳙(Hypophthalmichthys nobilis)等滤食性鱼类以改善水质[44]。本研究区域仅景洪库区在2013—2015年间放流鲢、鳙鱼类就高达140万尾。速生鱼种的引入为渔业的迅速增长创造了条件。因此, 澜沧江渔业产量与装机容量表现出了极高的相关性(r=0.936, P < 0.01)。
澜沧江梯级电站建设后, 虽然渔获量明显提升, 但鱼类多样性及物种丰富度大幅下降, 尤其是土著鱼类。近年来随着外来鱼类物种数的增加, 群落多样性水平开始回升, 但外来鱼类的引入将给土著鱼类带来生态风险。研究表明, 在争夺食物和生存空间方面, 外来鱼类相对土著鱼类优势明显[45-46];而水库蓄水后水体营养动力学的改变, 通常也更利于外来种的生存[47]。因此, 外来鱼类在进入水库后种群规模迅速扩大, 并成为优势种群。随着梯级电站建设运行, 外来鱼类逐渐成为各梯级水库渔获物的主要成分(图 4)。另一方面, 外来鱼类会吞食土著鱼类的鱼卵, 造成以砾石为产卵和活动场所的土著鱼类数量急剧下降, 一些物种甚至濒临灭绝[15, 46]。如云南泸沽湖分布的3种裂腹鱼类由于引入的麦穗鱼等小鱼类吞食其鱼卵而造成了绝迹[48]。本次调查在澜沧江下游新发现的外来鱼类下口鲇(Hypostomus plecostomus), 其繁殖力非常强, 此种类不仅摄食藻类及其它饵料生物, 也大量吞食土著鱼类的卵[47], 这必将给下游喜沙砾\卵石底质, 产粘沉性卵的条鳅属、南鳅属、爬鳅属鱼类带来较高的生存压力;在梯级库区发现的捕食性鱼类乌鳢(Channa argus)、大口鲇(Silurus meridionalis)、云斑鮰(Ameiurus nebulosus)、大口黑鲈(Micropterus salmoides)等对土著鱼类也具有明显的捕食压力。可以预见, 研究区域多达37种的外来鱼类, 将导致澜沧江土著鱼类种群规模和种类数量的进一步降低, 甚至给整个生态系统造成严重影响, 这也是澜沧江鱼类研究下一步需重点关注的地方。
在自然生态系统中, 群落的生态特征通常是由生境多样性、地理、土地利用和水化学等因素共同决定[49], 而鱼类作为水生态系统中最高级的动物, 对生态环境变化反应极为敏感。因此, 在澜沧江梯级电站建设给区域生态环境带来剧烈变化后, 其河流鱼类生态类型也相应转变。如, 由于河流形态由河相转为了河相-湖相交替形式导致急流浅滩型生境锐减, 急流型鱼类较梯级电站建设前减少了42种;由于水流速度减缓、水深增加、泥沙沉降等不利于产沉性卵鱼类生存[45, 50], 产沉性卵鱼类比例逐渐减少;由于浮游植物等饵料增加, 营养类型中植食性、滤食性鱼类比例逐渐增大(图 6)。类似的现象也发生在珠江[51], 研究表明, 珠江梯级电站建设运行后, 流水型鱼类比例下降显著, 静水型鱼类比例大幅增加;产卵类型中原本占多数的产粘沉性鱼类比例下降则更为明显。可以看出, 河流生态环境与鱼类群落生态特征联系密切, 梯级电站建设引起的整个河流生态环境变化成为了鱼类群落演替的内在驱动力。
总而言之, 澜沧江干流梯级电站建设与运行提高了渔获量, 但降低了土著鱼类多样性;且在鱼类群落演变过程中, 生态环境变化产生了关键的推动作用。近年来, 基于“干流开发, 支流保护”水电发展理念, 支流生态环境修复对保护土著鱼类成效显著[52-54]。本研究区域支流小水电众多, 可通过拆除这些小水电, 恢复鱼类栖息地环境, 实现对澜沧江土著鱼类的保护;另外, 澜沧江仍存在一些受人类活动干扰较小的支流, 如罗梭江、南阿河等, 可继续加强对这些支流保护力度, 以维持土著鱼类多样性。
